Who Is Cade?
I am an XR community veteran and UX Designer specializing in XR, with a keen eye on the ever-evolving landscape of immersive experiences. I have spent time networking and connecting with all corners of this industry to peruse the understanding of what makes XR tick. I also regularly participant at industry events, where I soak in the latest trends and advancements.
In my professional capacity, I work as a UX Design contractor for Sinn Studios, the studio being one of the PSVR best sellers for Swordsman VR. I am a designer for their upcoming game in alpha, Battlegrounds, a next generation, PvP sandbox game designed around physics-based sword combat. At the studio I work on things like gameplay features, prototyping, map design, and I serve as the community manager for the project.
My creative toolkit includes proficiency in Unity, Unreal, Blender, and Davinci Resolve. For years, I have immersed myself in these platforms on a hobbyist level, allowing me to bring a diverse skillset to the table. Over the past two years, I have been an acting Game Director and Project Manager at Golden Gear Studios, an indie game development studio I started. At the studio I have been guiding the development of the indie VR game "Hex VR," a zero gravity stylized sports game, which has achieved over 50,000 downloads during its alpha tech-demo stage.
I am an award-winning project manager at MIT Reality Hack, where I led the FlexVR-Wellness project. This project was recognized in the "Creative Hardware Inputs and Outputs" track. My involvement with MIT Reality Hack extends beyond participation; I have been brought on as an organizer due to my skills and contributions.
